Kompetisi blog ini diselenggarakan oleh kompas bekerjasama dengan IM3. Belakangan ini semenjak mengikuti kontes Busby dengan keyword Busby SEO Test, saya semakin sering menemukan kontes-kontes lainnya. Hidup Kontes . O ya keyword yang diperebutkan untuk kontes ini adalah : Kompetisi Website Kompas MuDA – IM3.

Dan bagi yang tertarik mengikuti lomba ini silakan ke halaman kontesnya panitia.

But, still it’s a hard thing to do. And the reward is not big just like the main contest. Its only an IPOD touch. To win an IPOD Touch from Busby Website at least I have to post creative or funny content in my Busby SEO Challenge Page. The winner will be announced shortly after the end of the SEO competition.

An SEO competition (contest) or SEO Challenge is an activity where one has to optimize their site or blog for any specific key phrase. In other words, it is a challenges using certain keyword(s) to search engine optimization (SEO) practitioners to rank themselves as a challenger among the major search engines such as Google, MSN and Yahoo. In this case SEO practitioners have to optimize their page for keyphrase : Busby SEO Challenge in Google SERPs

This contest is just another sport, another adventure for me in the SEO world. In this competition, I must optimize this blog with keyphrase : Busby SEO Challenge.

So What is Busby ?

Busby is the English name for the Hungarian prémes csákó or kucsma, a military head-dress made of fur, worn by Hungarian hussars. In its original Hungarian form the busby was a cylindrical fur cap, having a bag of colored cloth hanging from the top. The end of this bag was attached to the right shoulder as a defense against sabre cuts.

Saya tidak mau banyak beralasan disini, entah itu karena pendaftaran yang telat, kekurangan backlink atau apalah namanya. Yang jelas apa yang saya lakukan sekarang dalam waktu 3 hari ini untuk mendapat posisi yang lebih baik. Bagi yang memperhatikan mungkin akan melihat title page situs ini berubah total, dan saya melakukan beberapa hack untuk wordpress, wuihhh istilahnya serem banget.

Dari target keyword Bali Web Design berubah menjadi SeoContest2008. Dengan harapan mendapat lebih banyak backlink. Resikonya, sayapun akan kehilangan posisi untuk keyword Bali Web Design ataupun Bali Web Service yang baru saja saya “nikmati”.

Tapi waktu yang tinggal 3 hari lagi, sedangkan saya sangat2 membutuhkan bantuan backlink dan ping membuat saya harus melakukan ini. Ini hanya berlangsung untuk 3 hari saja . So, selamat tinggal Bali web Design, selamat datang SEOContest2008.

Namun kini semua masalah itu terlewati sudah. Kendala sandbox, kendala tak terlisting, sudah tidak lagi menghalangi langkah blog ini untuk masuk nominasi. At least nominasi lah. Soalnya kalo mo jadi juara, rada sulit, musuhnya Raksasa semua . Apalagi saya daftarnya telat (nyari2 alasan Mode : On).

Dan syukurnya, setelah di listing sebagai kontestan, akhirnya saya juga masuk nominasi. Dan sekarang berada di posisi 32 dari 130 peserta. Peringkat inipun telah naik 4 tingkat, karena pada saat saya di listing pertama kali sebagai kontestan, blog seocontest2008.dstudiobali.com itu berada di posisi 38.
