Well, I don’t know if the sphereteam have done this or not, but as part of their “psychological warfare” strategy, I’m sure they’ll pretend they are behind all this.
But if you want my point of view, if they had really wanted to harm someone, they wouldn’t have chosen Pogung (who is not the main danger for them), but imfreakz or litereview, and they certainly wouldn’t have put their name on the ad.

Considering to whom this is valuable, I would consider it is one of the third party competitor, most probably one of the 2 sites above.

Yet, I agree with you it could also be a strategy done by Pogung to get backlinks and make everyone talking about him.
This could also be part of a team plan, by the Sphere, since they have declared that the war was engaged.
But in both cases, it is too obvious, and from my own experience, I think that the danger comes from where you are not looking at.

Good luck to Pogung, I really hope this will not “down” his site by increasing the number of bad neighborhood backlinks.

Yet, sorry to say that, but all this begins to become more fun
